Aquilla is a unincorporated community (formerly an incorporated village 1946-2024; residents voted to dissolve it in 2024) in Geauga County (ZIP 44024), about 24 minutes from our shop at 7401 Ravenna Rd in Concord Township. Very small rural community in Claridon Township; recently dissolved its village government (2024) after briefly forming a separate “Aquilla Township” in 2021. Airlock Insulation has been dense-packing cellulose into Geauga County attics and walls for years, and Aquilla homes are a regular stop for our crews.
What we see in Aquilla homes. Small-scale residential area, ~150 housing units as of 2010 census; no specific architectural style or construction-era data verified — unknown. Houses from that era were typically built with little or no wall insulation and thin, settled attic insulation, so the biggest wins in Aquilla are usually a dense-pack wall injection, air sealing the attic floor, and bringing the attic up to R-49 or better with blown-in Nu-Wool cellulose.
Whether you’re near unknown (no named landmarks verified beyond the community itself) or anywhere else in Aquilla, the process is the same: a free in-home consultation, an itemized quote, and most jobs finished in a single day.
Nearby communities we also serve: Chardon, Claridon Township, Burton, Munson Township.
