Berea Ohio Blown-In Cellulose Insulation Professionals

Berea is a city in Cuyahoga County (ZIP 44017), about 55 minutes from our shop at 7401 Ravenna Rd in Concord Township. Western Cleveland suburb historically known as the “Grindstone Capital of the World” for its sandstone quarrying industry; home to Baldwin Wallace University and the Cleveland Browns training facility. Airlock Insulation has been dense-packing cellulose into Cuyahoga County attics and walls for years, and Berea homes are a regular stop for our crews.

What we see in Berea homes. 8,174 housing units (2020), 70.6% owner-occupied; housing stock concentrated in the post-WWII era through the 1970s, mixing older in-town homes near the historic quarry district with mid-century suburban tracts. Houses from that era were typically built with little or no wall insulation and thin, settled attic insulation, so the biggest wins in Berea are usually a dense-pack wall injection, air sealing the attic floor, and bringing the attic up to R-49 or better with blown-in Nu-Wool cellulose.

Whether you’re near Lyceum Square, Baldwin Wallace University, Coe Lake (former quarry pit) or anywhere else in Berea, the process is the same: a free in-home consultation, an itemized quote, and most jobs finished in a single day.

Nearby communities we also serve: Brook Park, Middleburg Heights, Strongsville, Olmsted Falls, Olmsted Township.
