Bratenahl is a village in Cuyahoga County (ZIP 44108, 44110), about 35 minutes from our shop at 7401 Ravenna Rd in Concord Township. Founded in 1903 by Charles Bratenahl; a small, affluent lakefront village on Lake Erie and one of Cleveland’s oldest residential suburbs, bordered by Cleveland on three sides. Airlock Insulation has been dense-packing cellulose into Cuyahoga County attics and walls for years, and Bratenahl homes are a regular stop for our crews.
What we see in Bratenahl homes. Housing stock is a mix of older stately lakefront estates (early 20th century) alongside townhouses and condominiums, including the 1967 brutalist-style Bratenahl Place high-rise condo complex. Houses from that era were typically built with little or no wall insulation and thin, settled attic insulation, so the biggest wins in Bratenahl are usually a dense-pack wall injection, air sealing the attic floor, and bringing the attic up to R-49 or better with blown-in Nu-Wool cellulose.
Whether you’re near Lake Erie shoreline, Bratenahl Place condominiums, lakefront estate district or anywhere else in Bratenahl, the process is the same: a free in-home consultation, an itemized quote, and most jobs finished in a single day.
Nearby communities we also serve: Cleveland, Shaker Heights, Cleveland Heights.
