Geneva Ohio Blown-In Cellulose Insulation Professionals

Geneva is a city in Ashtabula County (ZIP 44041), about 25 minutes from our shop at 7401 Ravenna Rd in Concord Township. Settled in 1805 along the Grand River near Lake Erie, incorporated as a village in 1866 and as a city in 1958; known for Geneva State Park, the Grape Jamboree festival, and the region’s viticulture. Airlock Insulation has been dense-packing cellulose into Ashtabula County attics and walls for years, and Geneva homes are a regular stop for our crews.

What we see in Geneva homes. 2,775-2,780 housing units (2020 census) with about 60% owner-occupied; downtown/older core dates to 19th-century village founding while surrounding residential areas reflect mid-20th-century and later development; specific median home age unknown. Houses from that era were typically built with little or no wall insulation and thin, settled attic insulation, so the biggest wins in Geneva are usually a dense-pack wall injection, air sealing the attic floor, and bringing the attic up to R-49 or better with blown-in Nu-Wool cellulose.
