Newbury is a township in Geauga County (ZIP 44065), about 30 minutes from our shop at 7401 Ravenna Rd in Concord Township. Central Geauga County farm/rural-residential township in the Connecticut Western Reserve, home to Punderson State Park and the hamlet of Newbury Center. Airlock Insulation has been dense-packing cellulose into Geauga County attics and walls for years, and Newbury homes are a regular stop for our crews.
What we see in Newbury homes. Mix of 19th-century farmhouses near Newbury Center and later-20th-century rural-residential homes on larger lots; broad mix of older and mid-century homes, no published median home age. Houses from that era were typically built with little or no wall insulation and thin, settled attic insulation, so the biggest wins in Newbury are usually a dense-pack wall injection, air sealing the attic floor, and bringing the attic up to R-49 or better with blown-in Nu-Wool cellulose.
Whether you’re near Punderson State Park, Newbury Center, South Newbury Union Chapel or anywhere else in Newbury, the process is the same: a free in-home consultation, an itemized quote, and most jobs finished in a single day.
Nearby communities we also serve: Burton, Auburn, Munson Township, Chardon, Bainbridge.
