Roaming Shores is a village in Ashtabula County (ZIP 44084, 44085), about 45 minutes from our shop at 7401 Ravenna Rd in Concord Township. A waterfront village straddling Rome and Morgan townships in south-central Ashtabula County, built around a lake; grown from 581 residents in 1980 to 1,586 in 2020. Airlock Insulation has been dense-packing cellulose into Ashtabula County attics and walls for years, and Roaming Shores homes are a regular stop for our crews.
What we see in Roaming Shores homes. 866 housing units (2010 census) at a density of about 412 per sq mi, reflecting a planned lake-community residential layout; specific construction era/style unknown. Houses from that era were typically built with little or no wall insulation and thin, settled attic insulation, so the biggest wins in Roaming Shores are usually a dense-pack wall injection, air sealing the attic floor, and bringing the attic up to R-49 or better with blown-in Nu-Wool cellulose.
Whether you’re near village lake/waterfront area or anywhere else in Roaming Shores, the process is the same: a free in-home consultation, an itemized quote, and most jobs finished in a single day.
Nearby communities we also serve: Rock Creek, North Kingsville, Geneva-on-the-Lake, Jefferson.
