Rome is a township in Ashtabula County (ZIP 44085), about 55 minutes from our shop at 7401 Ravenna Rd in Concord Township. A rural, agricultural township in southwestern Ashtabula County settled in 1805, named possibly after Rome, Italy or Rome, New York; home to the 1836 Rome Presbyterian Church and partially overlapping the village of Roaming Shores. Airlock Insulation has been dense-packing cellulose into Ashtabula County attics and walls for years, and Rome homes are a regular stop for our crews.
What we see in Rome homes. unknown (median owner-occupied home value is roughly 20% above the Ashtabula County median; specific construction era/style not verified). Houses from that era were typically built with little or no wall insulation and thin, settled attic insulation, so the biggest wins in Rome are usually a dense-pack wall injection, air sealing the attic floor, and bringing the attic up to R-49 or better with blown-in Nu-Wool cellulose.
Whether you’re near Rome Presbyterian Church (built 1836), Roaming Shores (village, partly in township) or anywhere else in Rome, the process is the same: a free in-home consultation, an itemized quote, and most jobs finished in a single day.
Nearby communities we also serve: Roaming Shores, Orwell Township, New Lyme, Windsor Township, Morgan Township.
