South Russell is a village in Geauga County (ZIP 44022), about 35 minutes from our shop at 7401 Ravenna Rd in Concord Township. Affluent residential suburb of the Cleveland metro area; incorporated in 1923, the last village in Geauga County to incorporate. Airlock Insulation has been dense-packing cellulose into Geauga County attics and walls for years, and South Russell homes are a regular stop for our crews.
What we see in South Russell homes. Predominantly single-family detached homes on large wooded lots; ongoing low-density construction from the late 1990s through present; median home value approx $491,000 (2024 est.), among the highest in Geauga County. Houses from that era were typically built with little or no wall insulation and thin, settled attic insulation, so the biggest wins in South Russell are usually a dense-pack wall injection, air sealing the attic floor, and bringing the attic up to R-49 or better with blown-in Nu-Wool cellulose.
Whether you’re near Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls Exempted Village School District area, Hunting Valley border or anywhere else in South Russell, the process is the same: a free in-home consultation, an itemized quote, and most jobs finished in a single day.
Nearby communities we also serve: Chagrin Falls, Hunting Valley, Moreland Hills, Gates Mills, Russell Township.
