Troy is a township in Geauga County (ZIP 44021), about 35 minutes from our shop at 7401 Ravenna Rd in Concord Township. A rural farm township in southern Geauga County centered on the unincorporated community of Welshfield; no incorporated municipalities lie within it. Airlock Insulation has been dense-packing cellulose into Geauga County attics and walls for years, and Troy homes are a regular stop for our crews.
What we see in Troy homes. Sparse, dispersed rural housing typical of Geauga County farm townships; documented historic structures include the Fox-Pope Farmhouse (built 1820), indicating a mix of century farmhouses alongside newer rural homes. Houses from that era were typically built with little or no wall insulation and thin, settled attic insulation, so the biggest wins in Troy are usually a dense-pack wall injection, air sealing the attic floor, and bringing the attic up to R-49 or better with blown-in Nu-Wool cellulose.
Whether you’re near Welshfield (unincorporated community), Fox-Pope Farmhouse, Troy Cemetery or anywhere else in Troy, the process is the same: a free in-home consultation, an itemized quote, and most jobs finished in a single day.
Nearby communities we also serve: Burton, Middlefield, Newbury Township, Auburn Township, Hiram.
