Wickliffe is a city in Lake County (ZIP 44092), about 18 minutes from our shop at 7401 Ravenna Rd in Concord Township. A post office established in 1843 grew into an inner-ring Lake County/Cleveland suburb, known as the “Gateway to Lake County.”. Airlock Insulation has been dense-packing cellulose into Lake County attics and walls for years, and Wickliffe homes are a regular stop for our crews.
What we see in Wickliffe homes. Primarily early-to-mid 20th century housing stock (1920s-1960s) including bungalows and postwar ranch/colonial homes, with a 78.2% owner-occupancy rate (2020 census) and 5,967 total housing units; anchored by the historic 1911-1915 Coulby Mansion. Houses from that era were typically built with little or no wall insulation and thin, settled attic insulation, so the biggest wins in Wickliffe are usually a dense-pack wall injection, air sealing the attic floor, and bringing the attic up to R-49 or better with blown-in Nu-Wool cellulose.
Whether you’re near Coulby Mansion (now City Hall), Coulby Park, Jindra Park or anywhere else in Wickliffe, the process is the same: a free in-home consultation, an itemized quote, and most jobs finished in a single day.
Nearby communities we also serve: Euclid, Willowick, Willoughby, Eastlake, Richmond Heights.
