Willowick is a city in Lake County (ZIP 44092 (also 44094/44095)), about 30 minutes from our shop at 7401 Ravenna Rd in Concord Township. Incorporated 1924; lakefront Cleveland-area suburb on Lake Erie, name a portmanteau of neighboring Willoughby and Wickliffe, motto “Great Living on a Great Lake.”. Airlock Insulation has been dense-packing cellulose into Lake County attics and walls for years, and Willowick homes are a regular stop for our crews.
What we see in Willowick homes. 6,671 housing units (2020 census), 4.8% vacancy; dense inner-ring lakefront suburb built out mainly in the mid-20th-century postwar boom, with ranch and cape-cod style homes typical of Cleveland’s inner lakefront suburbs. Houses from that era were typically built with little or no wall insulation and thin, settled attic insulation, so the biggest wins in Willowick are usually a dense-pack wall injection, air sealing the attic floor, and bringing the attic up to R-49 or better with blown-in Nu-Wool cellulose.
Whether you’re near Lakefront Lodge Metropark, Erie Road, Royalview Elementary/Willowick Middle School shared campus or anywhere else in Willowick, the process is the same: a free in-home consultation, an itemized quote, and most jobs finished in a single day.
Nearby communities we also serve: Willoughby, Wickliffe, Eastlake, Euclid, Willoughby Hills.
