Perry is a township (contains the Village of Perry and most of the village of North Perry) in Lake County (ZIP 44081), about 15 minutes from our shop at 7401 Ravenna Rd in Concord Township. Named for Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, hero of the Battle of Lake Erie; rural lakeshore township with agricultural land, home to the Perry Nuclear Power Plant in North Perry. Airlock Insulation has been dense-packing cellulose into Lake County attics and walls for years, and Perry homes are a regular stop for our crews.
What we see in Perry homes. Village of Perry had 630 housing units (2010 census) with a mix of 19th-century homes (e.g., the 1880 Lucius Green House) and newer construction; surrounding township remains largely rural/agricultural with farm homes along roads like River Road. Houses from that era were typically built with little or no wall insulation and thin, settled attic insulation, so the biggest wins in Perry are usually a dense-pack wall injection, air sealing the attic floor, and bringing the attic up to R-49 or better with blown-in Nu-Wool cellulose.
Whether you’re near Perry Nuclear Power Plant, North Perry, River Road farmland or anywhere else in Perry, the process is the same: a free in-home consultation, an itemized quote, and most jobs finished in a single day.
Nearby communities we also serve: Madison, Painesville, Concord Township, LeRoy Township, Fairport Harbor.
